Apparently late last night I believe the Speaker declared Martial Law will be implemented in the United States. For a period of 12 months (yeah right) the 3rd Infantry, which was on the front lines of Iraq will be coming home acting as a “federal police force” and is being trained in “domestic operations”. I’m sure this means habeas corpus will be gone as well. America, though it has not been free for a long, long time has finally went over the cliff. I’d like everybody’s thoughts and opinions as to what you think will be the result of this. Will it be full blown militarism and insanity, or will they keep it more subtle until they brainwash the populace into dormancy even more? Will the soliders, if ordered to impose tyranny wake up and defend the people and Constitution as they have sworn to do?

Yeah, stop spreading panic. “Martial law” refers to a rule which allows a law to pass quicker than usual.
Regardless I don’t like the idea of the US army doing domestic “policing”.
I didn’t know either when I first saw it. I thought it was martial law. But before I emailed it around, I did a google search first and found out it wasn’t.
I didn’t know either, but I was curious about it.
Oh, and there’s no army and no policy involved.
