Unfortunately, the 9/11 madness is still marching on. I hope that the residents of Fullerton can bring their police to heel but cops in the rest of the country will learn only one lesson from this: make sure it’s not on tape.

Oh they’re definitely trying. ReasonTV has done a decent amount of coverage on this.
I don’t think there’s a whole lot they can do about it at this point, short of outlawing it. I think it would take quite a lot before people would go along with that.
I just want to say to anyone reading this, not just people who post, that if you are ever given an order by a police officer to immediately comply with the order and say “yes sir” while doing it.
Don’t risk provoking a cop. It’s not worth it and it won’t be fun if it happens to you. You never know if you’re dealing with a trigger happy officer who’s just looking for an excuse to beat someone up.
I’m not blaming Kelly Thomas for what happened to him. It’s not his fault those cops went nuts on him but he’s dead anyways.
Bad advice. Following this advice could easily put you in a worse situation than one that just “won’t be fun”.
That’s a good link.
I highly recommend 10 Rules for Dealing with Cops parts 1,2,3 and 4.
Rule # 1 Always be calm and cool. Don’t fail the attitude test by talking back or disregarding orders.
I like it.
The “BUSTED” guide is excellent as well.
It’s bad enough this is going on at all, for multiple obvious reasons…but when exactly is this going on?
More encouraging news from our glorious education system:
That’s one of the funniest headlines he’s written.
Reminds me of this. Coincidentally i was just discussing this topic on another forum.

“Local education authorities and grammar schools discourage parents from giving their children extra coaching.”
They are so obsessed with removing any financial advantage that they would rather have children worse off as a result. It is rooted in a focus on social mobility and a class based mentality. The socialist way, so fair that everyone suffers.
The whole, if I can’t have a great education then everyone must have a poor education instead.
Ex-Rutgers student gets 30 days in webcam case
If the ex-Rutgers student filmed his roommate sleeping, I doubt that would be a crime. So, only certain types of filming are a crime. Arbitrary nonsense. But the former roommate committed suicide? Don’t care. If I disagree with you or film you, and you are so emotionally devastated that you commit suicide, good. One less oversensitive wimp on the planet.

P.S.
Aren’t you supposed to be in the woods? And aren’t you against using technology?
Lew Rockwell claims this is a brilliant ad from Gary Johnson:
Aren’t you supposed to be in the woods? And aren’t you against using technology?
Why do you care?
I wouldn’t want you to look like a hypocrite and be ridiculed by potential converts to your primitivism.

How am I a hypocrite? I’ve said again and again I dont plan on leaving civ YET until I’ve homesteaded enough land.
Speaking of which:
How much land do you plan to homestead?
