Well I don’t know what the second poster was talking about, because even some Austrians are minarchists who support the State protection of rights. Secondly, you can’t have a society that respects property and a State at the same time; the two are mutually exclusive if the taxation has broad support.
That’s the thing I have not been able to understand about liberals. Could they at least understand that the government is coercive and that coercion is generally bad? It seems to me if anybody supports a State it should be done begrudgingly. But these people embrace the extortion racket. It’s sickening.
It’s like they envision a government as anything but a self-interested party trying to expand in power and resources and wealth. Like it’s run by all these angels who are just trying to protect society. If you understand anything about human action, you know that government employees still have the same priorities in place as anybody running a business does.

Anyway, the reason I posted this was because I was stunned to see Mises promoted by anything, much less iTunes. It was just interesting.
Mises U just got promoted to 5.6 million people, possibly.
