JJ you had better be at least 50 years old. ![]()
…or just English
Great. We need all the help we can get.
Do you regret not moving to NH when you had a chance to before primary season?
No.
Do you reget not getting off the Internet and moving to the woods to scavenge for sustenance for the rest of your life before being called out as a poser?
No.

What does this have to do w/ Iowa and NH?
I can’t believe I tried to defend this guy once. >_>
If I never apologized to you for that, John, I apologize now. (Hey, you got two apologies in one thread!)
I’m too lazy for that. I like it when other people make my clothes, grow my food and clean my house.

All while eating foods full of poison, drinking water full of fluoride, drinking pasteurized milk full of cancer-causing agents, being vaccinated full of autism-causing mercury, paying taxes to the state and being forced into a collective every day. Yup sounds good to me.
Presuming you are 100% correct about those things, what if he prefers those things to being self-reliant? Does everyone have to have the same preferences as you?
Yep. And enjoying a leisure-filled, convenience-filled, fun-filled life…till I’m 90. Yeah I prefer that to getting a finger cut while trying to chop a branch for firewood and dying of infection at age 21 because Bear Grylls never did an episode on how to manufacture your own antibiotics.
Then you are clearly a Marxist.
Clearly.
I love how the Paulites always call voter fraud whenever Ron Paul loses and ignore the fact that he’s a fringe politician with bad oratory skills who has literally no appeal to undecided republicans.
They’re like a cult. They cry that if their beloved prophet isn’t nominated or elected to the executive branch America is “doomed”, as if he can affect any real change in monetary and social policy anyways. People need to realize, the Ron Paul campaign should only be considered PR for austro-libertarianism and it’s outcome in the electoral sphere is totally meaningless.
Furthermore, using rhetoric inferring that Ron Paul is America’s last bastion of hope makes people think you are completely nuts, and rightfully so.
While I think banned is being a little harsh, I tend to agree. I tend to be skeptical, but I won’t assume something without any evidence. Paulites (or an-caps like most of us on here) argue a lot with other points of view, but sometimes if we spend the amount of time we do on Mises, LRC, etc., it’s easy to forget how marginal our ideas still are. These are fringe places on the Internet, and not everybody is an avid user of the Internet.
Paul’s value is educating people. He’s not going to win the presidency because the Republicans hate him too much. His disfavorability is too high. Once the other contenders start dropping like flies, the neocon vote will condense and Paul will remain steady in the upper teens while Romney and Non-Romney duke it out in the 30s.
This isn’t about will Ron become president or not. This is about how many people will be educated.
By some analyses, the USSR did try to get its act together, clean up, shape up, and turn itself around on its own. It ultimately abolished itself.
However, I don’t think a similar chain of events will happen in the US - not even if every single state voted to secede from it. “The powers that be” are going all-in. I believe they may be willing to drag all of humanity down with them if they don’t “win”.

Dr. Paul spent a HUGE amount of money on campaign ads. He has a huge following esp among college students. A lot of leftists are moving away from the democrats to Dr. Pau. Theres no reason he should have lost. I know it was rigged.
Riiiiiight. Because no one else was spending money on campaign ads. ![]()
