Now that I am Libertarian...

This will be the first time in years that I am voting a Libertarian for President. I think I am going to be going with the LP’s pick for President or Ron Paul. True, I think Romney has a better chance at winning but I doubt that he’s a principled man.

Gary Johnson, former Governor of New Mexico and Republican Presidential candidate, was just nominated by the LP with a large majority victory over the weekend. I believe he is likely the most well-known nominee that the LP has nominated. You can visit his website here:

I see no more reason to believe Romney’s fiscal conservatism rhetoric than there was to believe Obama’s anti-war rhetoric or Bush’s fical conservatism and anti-nation building rhetoric. They’re all owned by someone who does not answer to what some may call “we the people”. I could not pick a “lesser of two evils” amongst Romney and Obama even if I wanted to.

A further note:

There are also, as you might expect, many libertarians opposed to voting altogether:

From Gray Johnson’s website:

“Impose and enforce sanctions on employers for noncompliance with immigration laws.”

So, Gary Johnson doesn’t want to allow businesses to hire whomever they want?

Those are my favorite kind of libertarian.

Anyway, Gary Johnson 2012!
