Many of the questions are loaded and ambiguous, making the whole thing kind of pointless… but that does seem pretty accurate. I didn’t bother emphasizing any answers, though. I should probably be a bit more pacifistic.

Of course it says I am cosmopolitan, secular and pacifist, but not as anarchistic as I would have thought. Odd that I’m supposed to be slightly reactionary rather than visionary, since on pretty much every political issue my disagreement is with some type of reactionary. I think a lot of the questions assume a left-right paradigm that I don’t quite fit into. For example the question “An obligatory referendum needs to be carried out for every demand by the population”. I guess responding no there makes me anti-democratic and ‘authoritarian’, but I’m against democracy because I’m too anarchistic. The test seems to assume that democracy is the pinnacle of anti-authoritarianism. Also I guess they consider me some sort of nationalistic authoritarian for thinking that some nations have a better gene pool than others. But just because you accept that there are biological differences does not mean you consider your own kind superior.

Weird. it says that I am a liberal cosmopolitan despite the fact that I really despise the liberal cosmopolitan’s ideology. I think this test has it all wrong. If anything I am an anarchist cosmopolitan… I disagree with liberal cosmopolitan for the most part entirely. Just because I think globalization can be a good idea doesn’t mean that it is… and it certainly isn’t with the way that it is currently being done.

I came out as a Capitalist too. As ever though the question construction with these types of quizzes is ridiculous since it doesn’t make a clear distinction between what should be coerced and what should not be. I really wish someone would create one in this manner as it may actually produce some interesting results rather than the conflated results we get at present.
In general there should be a political XY axis best solely on the amount of interventionism split into the civil and economic interventionism. There should then be a far more multifaceted cultural/ aesthetic/moral.philosophic section.
I can’t help but feel that the author’s German is probably better than his English, but the test claims that I’m a Liberal, which is a label I’ll accept in the Old World, but I’d personally use libertarian or anarchist or voluntarist first.
The test is lexically biased against voluntarism, as most political tests tend to be. If I’m to answer a question, “Citizens should be treated in a certain way”, I tend to see it as “Slaves should be treated in a certain way”. If I answer that citizens should be treated in a certain way, am I approving of the state as an institution? If I answer that they shouldn’t, am I disapproving of the institution, or am I saying that slaves should be treated cruelly?
What if the ‘capitalism’ I believe in is free enterprise by natural persons working in partnerships and associations with each other? Should I answer in favour of “companies” or “corporations”, with their artificial legal personality, which I see as part of the state apparatus?
It’s statist political test, yet again. It implies the state so it has no value determing what really peoples’ political ideas are. Just what mainstream told them.
