I have been thinking about producing various blog posts, videos, etc. regarding Anarcho-Capitalist ideas, and have started to wonder whether it would be wise to leverage my knowledge of the German language to produce such content in German as well as English. So, could anyone let me know the current exposure to such ideas in Germany, Austria, etc. Is this a market in need of quality content relating to Mises, Rothbard, etc., or are these ideas already readily available?
There’s a good first-language basis in the economics, of course.

I don’t think there’s much modern web media about actual anarcho-capitalism.
A Youtube search for “anarchokapitalismus” produces 17 results, mostly from this guy’s channel. Compared to 1880 results for “anarcho-capitalism”.
Perhaps I should clarify. I am fully aware of the fact that German speaking individuals who support Anarcho-Capitalist (or related) concepts exist, and that materials are available in general. I am more interested, though, in producing materials to entice people to seek out such materials. In other words, I am interested in producing videos and texts that will succinctly explain basic problems with the state and entice others to learn more about Anarcho-Capitalism.
So, basically, I am wondering what the state of (for lack of a better word) pop-AnCap content is in German speaking lands.
There is a ton of material in English. English speaking Ancaps continue to produce more and more.
I think that regardless of how much there is in Germany, there cannot be enough.
There is almost no introductory material in German and in fact no big site or forum remotely comparable to mises.org. In fact, it is a pain to order books to Germany for a reasonable price so there would be a startig point. Start a web page with introductory texts to Austrian Economics and libertarianism, open a forum to discuss these questions, get a few people to help you with videos on youtube, start a shop where people can order books collectively, similar to groupon. Another possibility would be to start translating as much has possible from the mises.org site. Maybe even start a German Mises Institute that cooperates closely with the original Mises Institute.
Yes, this is much work, but that is mainly because there is almost nothing libertarian in German. At least nothing that is up-to-date.
Are you sure? There are about 120 million native German speakers, compared to 50 million Polish speakers. German-speaking countries are also much more developed than Poland. Yet I know that there are a few very libertarian websites in Polish… I’m sure if you looked hard you could find something comparable in German.
I admit that I did not search very much but the mere fact that it takes a bit of time to find such pages is depressing. Also, in Germany socialist thinking is rising, at least I have that impression. The biggest site I know of is the homepage of libertarian/conservative magazine Eigentümlich Frei www.ef-magazin.de. I would be happy to learn about more sites.
Another hint that Germany is quite unlibertarian: There are only two meetups in Germany tagges ‘libertarian’ or similar on meetup.com.
There are several libertarian and anarcho-capitalist websites and blogs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There are also a couple of German-speaking authors. Some of them have written quite interesting introductory books about libertarianism / Austrian Economics. But compared to the US the state of AnCap content is really bad. Another problem is that we don’t have people like John Stossel and Ron Paul, who would make the people familiar with libertarian ideas. We also have some think tanks, but few and some of them are rather dubious.
So, if you want to produce content for the German speaking people, I (and I think also a lot of other German-speaking libertarians) would appreciate it very much.
For starters it would be possible to start listing all blogs and websites in German. I think libertarians in German countries would profit hugely from an effort of bundling. But this may be the topic of an other thread.
Those two listed were suggested by me. And two is really not much.
