Supreme Court to decide if human genes patentable
I’m not impressed with the reasons the interviewees provided, but nonetheless, this could be a major blow to IP should the SCOTUS do the right thing.
I won’t hold my breath.
I wonder what the implications would be if someone’s genetic code has genes patented by someone else?
Interesting, we’re watching the reductio ad absurdum against IP being played out in real life. The scary thing is: what if they don’t find the logical conclusion of IP to be absurd?
