Can anyone explain to me why I should believe that politicians can “solve” the
current situation? Who wasn’t able to get along with the money they got from
us? Who has put all the laws upon us that no-one can know?

You will hardly find anyone in the mises community that will have an explanation for that. We all know that there is no way any existing government can solve any problems. TO bring it to the point, most of us, if not all, believe, and have a scientific foundation for that believe, that government is never the solution but always the problem:-)

EU politicians, as all politicians in the world, are a gang of thieves writ large, as Rothbard puts it. By the way, could anyone think of any EU polician that we could say is an equivalent of Ron Paul? (I know there was a Libertarian party recently established in Great Britain but so much…)
Maybe in Germany Frank Schäffler comes close.

In Sweden we have a classical liberal, Henrik Alexandersson, in the european parliament, since the EU-election 2009. He’s a member of The Pirate Party - a party that focuses only to protect individual integrity (hence, dismiss all kinds of governmental action that interferes with one’s private life, like counterparts to affairs within the american Patriot Act) and to repeal intellectual property.
He holds lectures here in Sweden now and then, in wich he describes the awful bureaucratical and anti-liberty features of EU.
