I was thinking that the mises institute should have an online news broadcast in addition to just the blog to get the libertarian, anarchist, minarchist, and austrian economist views out from it on this site out to more and more people. Other websites I go to have something like it. They do a broadcast every now and then to get their views to more and more people. I was thinking that the mises institute could interview various people from different places who work in financial sectors, and, in various institutions… and we could get exclusive information. Plus we could interview Ron Paul and Rand Paul and criticize them if they’re being hypocritical with regards with how they see freedom, or, ask them for insight on their views. A youtube channel is one thing- but- why can’t the mises institute have its own news broadcast?
I heard they are ready to start on this immediately, as soon as you make a 6 figure donation to get them started.
I think you misunderstand what I mean. We don’t need a news agency via television. They could have something on the front of the site- and have an internet broadcast where we get people (and possibly forum members) to explain austrain economics points of view (and related philosophies) on different topics of the day. It doesn’t need to be THAT expensive.
Well, in the decentralized way things work today, is there anything to stop any forum member from interviewing people and posting the results? i mean, the idea of a centralized “news agency” seems a bit dated.
Or, just put up links to Freedom Watch. [:P] Judge Nap does a pretty good job–give it a try.
