It may be circumstancial but I used to like that kind of evidence more.
So why not get out of the computer and try to find an idea of where they went, what happened to them? There are hundred of familes out there, Im sure at least a bunch would talk to you. Ask if the person was really going to the airport and such, check passengers registers, research about the planes, their dates of fabrication.
That’s a real investigation and being in front of computer over-analyzing pics is not. Im a journalist student and Im fully aware it can be frustrating to rely on people to provide you with information, but tha’t how it must be.

The firefighters knew that the building was going to collapse and so that got sent out on a news wire, but they made a typo, switching “will collapse” to “has collapsed”. But I guess somehow we all think that the state controlled media is an institution of perfection.
As for the language used by the owner, he said the word pull, which some have taken as a term used in building demolition, but the term pull in demolition literally means to pull it down with cables when they want a building to fall in a certain area, not to detonate explosives inside. You’ll notice they weren’t pulling down WTC 7 with cables if it was a controlled demolition. So what’s more likely? He gave the order to pull the building down with invisible cables, or that he wanted to pull the firefighters out of a building which was going to collapse.
Why would the families of these people have any idea what actually happened? What information do you think they have that will help shed light on this situation?
Well, they would be able to tell if their relative was travelling, heading the airpot to catch a plane. Unless you claim that:
a) All the folks that were in the planes didn’t actually exist.
b) All the folks were into the conspiracy, including people from very different backgrounds, nationalities, etc.
c) The goverment kidnapped hundreds of people in the way to the airports and nobody noted .
And you know all of those (and any variaton of those) are absurd.
But ok, truthers can keep looking at pictures feeling smarter than everyone else.

I remember that he said “pull” in a television interview. I remember he also took out an insurance policy on the buildings a few days before, and made a lot of money out of this. I don’t know what damage, if any, WTC 7 took for it to be taken down on purpose. On the PBS interview he said something a long the lines of “there was such a loss of life today I decided to go ahead and pull it” (not exact words) which I thought was odd, because it seemed that he was saying that everyone elses death was reason to bring down another building.

You haven’t really provided anything of substance to this discussion. You seem to be doing the same of what you say the Truthers are doing.
what amazes me the most is not those nuts, who claim it was controlled demolition, (I can understand them and it is easy to be fooled by some random footage without EXPERTS explaining to you what you see)… but those nuts who claim that there were NO PLANES at all and towers where demolished by misiles…Sorry, but that is really retarded.

I provided the idea of people removing their butts of the chair and some real investigation if they want people to believe them. My whole point is that truthers act lazy when they could be investigating a lot of oher things beside pictures or low-res videos in the internet.

What’s real investigation? How are they lazy? You keep making references to pictures and videos when there is a whole lot more added to this equation. You seem to be ignoring the vast amount of arguments they have in favor of it being an inside job. I guess if you are not outside doing field work you’re not doing a real investigation, right? I guess we can no longer prove anything by doing basic research at home. Maybe we should take another look at Austrian economics, and throw out any theory that wasn’t found outside of our study at home, would that satisfy investigation standards?

So it’s not absurd to think that 19 cavemen did it, but it’s absurd to think that the world’s greatest superpower did it. It’s not hard for the world’s greatest superpower to control planes remotely. No need for any hijackers.

I thought the government’s official story was that 19 hijackers led by a caveman in Afghanistan did it. You’re saying Saudis did it. That means Saudi Arabia harbors terrorists. So why is the government not bombing the crap out of Saudi Arabia.

As for why they aren’t bombing Saudi Arabia, Probably has something to do with this, but I’m glad they aren’t doing that in addition to Iraq and Afghanistan.
According to that article, the US has given $80 billion in military hardware to Saudi Arabia. The US got $80 billion added to its national debt. So what does the US get out of that? Sounds like the US government should stop giving them military hardware and/or ask for some it back. Especially when some of it is being used to help hijackers fly planes into buildings.

Bert, what I see is people speculating how the hell buildings didn’t collapse as they imagine buildings should collapse. But yeah, if you want to prove something really big, “basic research at home” doesn’t cut, at all. I know we all are fascinated by the amount of information to be found in the internet, but it’s my experience that going out, checking things piece by piece, talking to people face to face can be able to give us new perspectives and ideas. It can be frustrating and tiresome most of the times, but when we find out something, it’s much more revealing.
But if you believe you can do a great real investigation just in front of the computer, good luck to you.
