It is obvious to me and to any intelligent person that the whole Weiner affair is a distraction, perhaps an intentional one. What, if any, major piece of news did it distract away from? Was it a distraction just from the bad economy or something else?
I don’t even think Alex Jones would go that far.
The economy.
Libya.
Of course, the last two don’t need a distraction. Even without Weiner’s mid-life crisis, they would not receive much airtime.

It’s not hard, you hear something over drinks or whatever and you save it for a time that you might need to use it. Anyways, I’ve been playing too much L.A. Noire I guess lol
A convenient distraction? Nah. It’s just the media and its followers wanting to get in on the slice. If it has to do with something sexual then everyone has got to be in on it. Good thing I have sworn off the news for a while.
The fact that he lied to the American people is the main ethical issue, and the reason he should resign. Same deal with Bill Clinton pretending he didn’t have sex with Monica Lewinsky.
Nobody cares enough about anything serious that they need a distraction in the first place. Lybia got attention for the first week that NATO and the US were amping up support for the war, but quickly died out. The people that are enthralled with Weinergate probably don’t even know that Lybia and Yemen are countries.
