If America just financially collapsed? What would be the ideal country?
Switzerland?

I know I’m an an-cap and all, but since no land exists that cherishes these values, where would you go?
I hear Haiti is good because of all the destruction stimulus.
Well, I would probably stay here and assist the liberty movement in the post-collapse era. If the country suddenly went totalitarian, I dunno, probably Monaco or something.
America was where you went when you had to flee your country. If people have to flee America, then there is nowhere to run.
Probably Liechtenstein or Andorra.
hong kong or japan because of the food and relatively nice life style. But why not stay in the US? If the economy tanks this might just be the big break the market and freedom movements have been looking for.
And if the paradigm doesn’t change? I mean I can’t just see the Sarah Palin/ Nancy Pelosi/ Obama/ John Boehner types going away very easily.

Well you’re right about that, I just think that if things go REALLY BAD in the US we could end up splitting into different countries and that could mean a “liberty-ville USA” especially with the free state project and such. It would be cheaper than moving to asia seeing as I’d also have to learn a new language.
I like how they have less censorship on certain things, it makes one feel, respected. I also like the absurdly high-tech video games they always seem to have and the sushi. Of course inflation would always be a worry but I hear that prices there aren’t all that high.
I was thinking about Vancouver. After that maybe Switzerland, New Zealand or Australia.
There was this kid who always used to complain about the free staters and how they are destroying his town. But, then again he was for government health-care, the wars, and inflation. So yeah, there you go.
I would probably move to Spain over the United States, but in either country if they collapsed they would still be my ideal country. I guess some identity to these countries is the last vestige of statism in me (well, not the last, but close enough). It’s more of a nationalism to the land I lived in (not Spain; it just happens to be in Spain). But, assuming one or the other financially collapsed I would ideally stay there at try to push it towards liberty as much as I could. And, if I failed at least I would die with the satisfaction that I tried.
But, this is just a personal opinion, and I don’t expect many people to share it.
The point is that when the shit goes down the best place to be is home.
Argentina. Here is my guess. America will collapse and I will be just a surprised as everyone else. I have a land route planned. Take me about 3 weeks unless I get killed or I underestimated how much gas I"m gonna need.
