What is your stance on Video Games/ Movies/ Literature?

And IMHO most all realistic war games I have played have been incredibly boring.

Oh yeah. They’re so boring they’re basically a great anti-war advert. They’re saying that in war - you die of boredom.

I tried playing a couple Strategic Studies Group games but I realized I could have more fun with an excel sheet.

I like talking about video games.

My favourites are grand strategies (e.g. Victoria: AEUTS, Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis, Total War), JRPGs (Chrono Trigger, FF, others), CRPGs (Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age: Origins etc.), and some RTSs (Warcraft II, Age of Empires II, others).

I have recently and in the past also enjoyed some action-adventure games, some action games, beat-em-ups, fighters and FPS games, but these are more of an on-the-side thing, mostly social as opposed to something I’d spend time on on my own.

although TV isn’t mentioned in the thread I assume its Kosher in here.

Briefly caught bit of this new show on Fox called Human Target its about some private firm that does personal protection or something. Had a couple great lines one in which the client when signing up for the service talked about how inadequate the police are, and later when the client (who was some sort of public official or lobbyist or something who pushed through building a high speed rail from San Fran to LA) is talking to the agent and the agent asks how much of his tax money went into building it, and its some big number, and then the agent says something along the lines of “well, if this person threatening you doesn’t kill you, I might have to”

[:D]

lolol.

I like this line.
