Progressive rock. Yes is the pinnacle of music to me.
Iāve always imagined that if punk is the music most related to collectivist anarchism, then progressive music should be related to individualist anarchism.
Lately, Iāve been all about dubstep and dnb. But in general, I listen to pretty much anything that can be qualified as rock or blues, with a little bit of hip hop on the side.

Music is a language. You can say whatever you want with it, even make a political statement. We pass on our message in many languages, why not music?
Iām a bit older, and like to listen to classic rock, oldies, motown, eighties rock and pop, eighties hard rock/metal, grunge, and even some classic country. My musical appreciation growth stopped somewhere around 1997 or so.

I am not austrian (in fact, I am lithuanian), but I listen to all sorts of ambient and electronic music.

My Favourite musicians/bands right now are Strike Anywhere,Phil Ochs,Anarchist folk singer Evan greer, Anarchist? Ryan Harvey and Propagandhi.

How is punk not individualist?
Iāve always been a rocker, especially a punk rocker. I just feel so much freedom when I listen to punk rock, left or right. Fucking hell, I might not be a libertarian today if it wereānt for punk rock.
I would say I would not be libertarian if not for Hip Hop, John Stossel, Punk Rock, Malcolm X and Henry Thoreau. Hip hop and punk can sometimes have anti government messages, though I do think they have some sense of individualism. Just look at the lyrics.
I write professionally (part time) for a metal website, and Iāve been involved with that music for a while, so Iām immersed into that scene. I also listen to some hardcore, power pop, punk, and progressive.
Rush is one of my favorite bandā¦and their lyricist/drummer has strong libertarian leanings that tend to pop up in their songs.
I love Chuck Berry, rock n roll god! Why does government and society fear black music?
Jeff Beck, Doyle Bramhall II (or any Texas blues for that matter!), Dream Theater, Led Zep, Baroque period classical, just to name a few.
