If the Copenhagen Treaty is signed, we’ll have a world government next week. It’s maybe a conspiracy, but it’s not a theory.
there’s already a world government. all the g-20’s, etc… the WHO, UN, Tri-lateral commission, NATO, international banker meetingg, Bilderberg meetings, etc… Copenhagen is merely another move upon the many that they’ve already coordinated together, but another move that is big no doubt. especially with it’s explicit lying and fraud. Al Gore invented the internet you know
None of those you mention have authority to tax nations of the world.
true, but taxing is the upfront control. Federal Reserve with it’s handing out of digital money goes to European, African, and central/south American countries, etc… They do it at times through the IMF (which doesn’t only get it’s money to hand out via loans from the U.S. but other countries as well as Gordon Brown this year has made many trips to the Middle East and has asked other countries that have savings, ie. China, to fork over money to the IMF for global economic stability in order for the IMF to loan out more money) so all debts/loans by these countries go back to the IMF. Taxes are blunt. Loans through the IMF are usually the unseen global taxation and control that has global governance dictating to these countries in debt, as pertaining to the loan agreement, that these countries are to structural development certain infrastructures that the IMF dictates. It’s part of the deal. Most if not all of these countries, like Argentina and Mexico, never get out of the debt grip and collapse.
but yes, the carbon tax is upfront for everybody to see. it’s not a loan, true. but policies have been made on the world stage for decades.
Will there be a dress code for the revolution? LvMi seems to like business casual.
Why not? They come together and convene in some building in NYC and vote on things they call treaties. They tax you!
that’s true. tax money goes to politicans who meet at these global summits in which global policies are made. yeah, the taxes we give now go to them supporting their global meetings as we speak now. true
The problem with the world government conspiracy theories is that they are all based on statist premises. As if their national government or local government was a natural creation of God, but a World government is somehow an evil human designed conspiracy.
Some questions:
Is the war on terror unnecessary?
Is Global warming a scam?
Was 911 an inside job?
At least they’re democratically elected, as opposed to the upcoming dictatorship.
Here is a rule of thumb: Every plan or scheme that must be financed by compulsion in order to exist is most likely, unnecessary.
If you mean wether the planet has warmed by a degree or so over the last century, then NO. such a fact can be either validated or invalidated.
But if you mean, the causes are definetly human, we need government central planning to solve the problem, blah blah blah… then Yes, it’s another excuse for more socialism.
I don’t know what an inside job is any longer. I consider the government as my enemy no less then any foreign terrorist.
They are no less democratic then every action of your local government. Are the participants of the world government not either elected officials or delegates sent by elected officials, or delegates sent by delegates sent by elected officials, or …etc.
This is Democracy at work for you.
At least they’re democratically elected, as opposed to the upcoming dictatorship.
government propaganda
There seem to be global warming/climate change alarmists on one side and one world government alarmists on the other side. I think that as libertarians we have the least to lose by the formation of a one world government since we already hate government anyway. And today we see what happens when governments over-extend themselves, what do you think is going to happen if they all get together and accelerate their efforts to break the laws of economics? The bigger they are, the harder they will fall. And hopefully the quicker they’ll fall, while they’re at it. Don’t they say that a candle flickers most brightly right before it goes out or some shit? Maybe the same analogy would hold true for the formation of a one world guhment.
world government alarmists
So you think a socialist world government is a good idea?
Not necessarily. Something will surely be signed, I can assure you of that, but it’s still not perfectly clear if it will be something to really worry about or just another wasteful empty shell like Kyoto. It’s no mystery the EU and the US are desperately pushing for some kind of an agreement to use at home for taxation purposes: the EU wants a pan-European tax to go straight into Leviathan’s coffers while the US wants a “carbon credit” market because Wall Street says so (and the State nods in the background). The problem is the rest of the world. They aren’t exactly happy to bow down once again in front of two crumbling empires on their last legs. They may sign an agreement as a gesture of goodwill but they will dictate some conditions. Africa and South America will probably be bought off with an “environmental fund” which will go straight from my and your wallets into the local satraps’ bank accounts. China, Russia and India will be much tougher nuts to crack. My guess is that they will sign, smile a lot, shake hands and do absolutely nothing more than the usual press releases when a Western head of State comes around to sell some more bonds.
Whatever happens it will be the swansong of the West.
The bigger they are, the harder they will fall.
its one thing to hope that the bad guys ‘fall’, its another to hope that they fall over on top of you
None of those you mention have authority to tax nations of the world.
Technically true but then why is so much of our tax money going to fund them? [:'(] Their authority is granted by proxy, from governments themselves, you could say. They can claim their authority is limited all they want, but the fact is that they are getting a lot of tax money to fund their corrupt “programs”, with no real oversight or accountability.
Do you think Obama is a better president than Obama?
Some questions:
Is the war on terror unnecessary?
Is Global warming a scam?
Was 911 an inside job?
To put it simply, “yes” to all three of those.
