Are there any Austrians in the LSE (London School of Economics) presently? If anybody has any information, please do share it here.
I am just wondering if the admission team takes the political preference expressed in the Statement of Purpose of the student into account while offering a seat.
I was wondering the same thing myself last week. I know they have a Hayek Fellowship that Peter Leeson got a few years back. They also have a Hayek lecture series that seems to feature Austrians like Boettke.
All of this would make me think LSE is more Austrian than most top 10-20 econ programs. But I have no idea if anyone there would consider themselves Austrian.
