Hello all,
I’m sorry if such topic already exists (I haven’t found one), but I was wondering whether any of you happen to live in London and perhaps belong to any informal local community of Austrian sympathizers. I’m currently doing research which draws heavily on Austrian Econ at the Univ. of London and I would be more than happy to meet over a pint (or tea, or whatever your poison might be 
and discuss ideas, interests, plans etc. The local Austrian academic community is admittedly robust (the spirit of Hayek keeps it alive), but unfortunately quite small. It would be more than nice to find out that there more of us here. Let me know if that’s the case.

I lived in London up until two months ago, I’m afraid. Would’ve gladly shared a pint but, to be honest, I’m glad I got outta there.
The LSEsu Hayek Society is run by a good guy I know, Arthur Ma. Add him on facebook if that’s how you do. I live in the outskirts of London, but I’m mostly in Oxford nowadays.
We don’t have that big a community in the UK, but Hayek’s spirit at LSE keeps it alive.
I’ve been in touch with the LSE Hayek Society but unfortunately so far their meetings tended to overlap with my other commitments. Hopefully I will be able to visit them sometime soon.
No one else? That’s a bit of a letdown.
