California is supposedly going to End Welfare (Reddit)

wow

I live in San Ramon and I’m skeptical of this claim.

California spends over $1.5 billion for “environmental protection” (actually destruction) and almost $12 billion for “Business, Transportation, and Housing.” The threat to eliminate welfare is just that - a threat. Nothing more, nothing less. The California legislature/Governator used welfare elimination as a threat as a means to passing higher taxes - which now failed.

And my skepticism is misplaced.

This is awesome. Arnold is going to TERMINATE welfare in order to save SKYNET (police state).

He did a very good job Terminating California…

Very surreal if that happens. California has the reputation of beeing the most progressive state.

Excellent, the libertarian robocalypse is near.

Fear not fellow human, John Conner is near. Now we just need to populate the coming human resistance. To quote Zapp Brannigan:

“198 billion babies in one week. We’ll need an army of supervirile men scoring round the clock! I’ll do my part, Kif clear my schedule.”

Arnold wanted to release inmates during an earlier budget crisis but backed down. Maybe it will actually happen this time!

California is almost certainly not going to eliminate welfare when they could cut taxes AND balance the budget by eliminating their state medical expenses and various business and housing expenses.

Whatever happens, it certainly is exciting to watch the bloodbath. Cutting welfare cost Louix XVI his head.
