I’m worried this pro-war idiot (West) could get the GOP nomination instead of Rand Paul or Ron Paul.
I’m worried that the Federal Reserve System and nationalized banking will never be abolished.
I’m worried about the New World Order and the North American Union.
I’m worried and angry about being unable to get good health care in the future without the government jacking up the price..
I’m angry that Obama gets to do what he does.
I’m angry that the states won’t pay off the national debt based upon their population within the next few years.
I’m angry at the powerful Zionist movement.
I’m angry that we have patent and anti-trust laws.
I’m angry that the IRS collects taxes instead of Congress or the states.
I’m worried about losing more liberties.
I’m worried about Obama tricking the Northern Koreans into firing the first shot or him staging a false flag attack.
What do we do? This tyranny and oppression isn’t cool. It’s just not fair. The fact that these tyrants know they’re making things worse for Americans is what really just sends me over the edge. Is there any hope?
I think I can save you the suspense on at least one of them and say that neither Rand nor Ron will get the GOP nomination. I mean of course it’s possible but highly unlikely. They’re out of step with mainstream Republican voters and the party knows this.
Well, thanks for the replies everyone:) I’ll be sure to keep Southern’s advice in mind:) This is a great place to chat, and I appreciate that there are people I see eye to eye with. This is one of the only places though. The smallest minority is the individual, but the second smallest minority is probably the Austrians.
Personally, I hope Ron Paul doesn’t get nominated/run in 2012. My reasoning is thus: The US is very soon headed for a big economic downturn, likely a plummeting in the value of the dollar. I don’t think Paul would have enough time to reverse this assuming he came to power in 2012, and thus as inflationary policies failed, the talking heads would be talking up and down about how Ron Paul led to an economic collapse and if only we had Obama/Perry/whoever, things would have been great.
Cheer up. It only took 70 years for everyone in Russia and their satellites to yearn for a free market. They learned their lesson and learned it well.

Not only that, the Russkies were used to living like serfs, because they WERE serfs, right into the Twentieth century [I think]. So it took em a while to realize something was wrong economically. We on the other hand, are used to living like kings.

The two places where I get the most hope are here and Freedom Force International. Strangely, I was actually more depressed before I woke up to the terrible realites of the world. At least I am getting closer to the truth and am able to do something about it, even if it is just talking to people.
What do we do? I have come across two major strategies. One is to engage in the intellectual battle led by the Mises Institute. Standing on the shoulders of giants like Mises and Rothbard, we can summarize their message and deliver it to the masses. Gradually, a revolution in the minds of people across the world will occur. More and more people will withdraw their support for the tyrants, and they will topple like a house of cards. Unfortunately, this will take a loooooong time given the state of things now.
The other strategy is summarized by the motto of Freedom Force: “Those without power cannot defend freedom.” The reason we are opressed is that the opressors have all the power. They control the power centers of society - governments, media, schools, labor unions, and so on. Therefore, a minority of collectivists can determine public opinion and the direction of the world. We need to change this by entering the physical battle of organizational work. We need to take back the power centers, like Ron Paul and Rand Paul are doing. Why fight city hall when you can be city hall? This strategy is explained here by G. Edward Griffin. Again, it will take a lot of effort and a long time to take back power. But the world will always be run by a minority of elites, right? We need to make sure that it is a minority of individualists, not collectivists.
In the end, fear and worry are our greatest enemies, I think. When you take action, the fear begins to fade away and life acquires new meaning and purpose.
