I’ve been a long time reader of the Mises blog and occassional poster - under “Eric B.” My journey has taken me from republican, to fiscally republican / socially liberal, to libertarian, and currently to anarcho-capitalist. I’m sure many others have followed the same path.
Currently I am a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and it’s interesting to analyse the company from an Austrian point of view. I’m out in Spokane, WA and sometimes I get the feeling there are no other ancaps here in town.
Back in November I went out to Portland to see Robert Murphey and Richard Ebeling talk, and would recommend seeing those two if they are in your area. Feel free to shoot me a friend request as I’m looking to build a network of like minded individuals.
