Funny quote

“Penn has some good points now and then, but I just can’t reconcile with myself how he can believe that Obama and Bush are “the same.” I have also found that Libertarians for the most part, haven’t really thought through a number of their positions. If “small government” is the MOST important thing to them, they don’t realize that nearly ALL of their Liberal social views would create a BIG GOVERNMENT. I also find it a cop out from having to take a strong stance on social values. Their foreign policy beliefs are straight from the , well I was going to say 1700s, but even then the major powers were expansionist and their impact on the world made isolationism a very bad idea. Just as it is now. If one cannot look today at the impact a United States has had on the world even from just a financial standpoint, and with Obama threatening trade restrictions, the European Union and Canada are threatening trade war, which would mean a depression for sure, for a LONG TIME, then I think it is Naive. Not to mention that EVERY SINGLE prosperous country in the world is that way but for the grace of the US. I can’t take Penn seriously.”

Found this on a website, it is in regard to a video by penn jillette. Kind of funny.

What?

Ha.

Haha.

That’s priceless.

What?

Uhm, what is it you want to discuss? William Penn?

I mean, I don’t know even where to start. You know what a libertarian position is on … say … anything?

But there is hope, you can get youself familiar with ideas and economic science right here at mises.org… and best of all for free… like in free lunch

I think he was quoting a guy who said something on another website about Penn Jilette, a comedian/magician who’s more or less libertarian.
