Happy Halloween! Cultural Appropriation & Costume Guide

If someone thinks dressing up as a “sexy squaw” is racist or an act of privilege, then they have missed the point entirely.

These types of costumes always lead to the same thing. Look it up! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!

Edit:
On a more serious note, did you go to that link of the “magazine” in the post? There’s a real problem there. One can only hope the subscribership is small.

Damn it! So that’s it for my going out as Ugly American.

@ Marko

LOL

Secularism is a religion all unto itself, complete with penance, venial sins, mortal sins, and so on. The vast majority of so-called sophisticates, urbanites, post-modernists, whatever-you-want-to-call-them are just being led around by a nose-ring of a different color.

“Remember: dressing up as Hitler is not cool!”

I really wish I had the resources to be black face Hitler wearing a gay pride rainbow vest.

Now halloween is racist ?

Oh no, someone mentioned race, better delete the thread.

Its only racist if you think its “cool” to be a character from a different ethnicity than your own. All Indians, or citizens of a non-Indian country who are of Indian descent, must go as Dhalsim (males) or Indeera Gandhi (females)..

Is there any particular reason you refuse to address your issues with the thread deletion in the proper forum? Or have you just decided to be a shit-disturber now?

Shit-disturber? What, have you had trouble going to the toilet since reading my posts? Anyway, it was just a joke, what’s the big deal?

It’s only a joke if it’s about an elephant in my pajamas.

dress up as a terrorist.

@ Groucho and Aristippus

I laughed when I read “shit-disturber.” I don’t know why, but I just cracked up. I’m very mature.

@ gotlucky

And I just now got YOUR post. I laughed. I don’t know what it is with me and playground humor.

It is a funny term, isn’t it?

And I’m still trying to figure out how he got in my pajamas…

I went as a cameljockeycrackerjigaboowetback. That’s not racist, right?

It depends on what kind of shoes you were wearing.
