Hello all, I was wondering what some good destinations were for a college student looking to leave the USA after graduation? I am willing to learn a new language so that is not an issue for me. Warmer is preferable to colder as well. Low taxes is a must, as well as little regulation. I am mainly looking to leave the USA for economic reasons so the sounder the economy the better.
I was actually considering moving to Texas if they seceded haha. I’ve also considered Singapore (but I’ve heard the government controls the media and it is fairly dangerous there), Australia/New Zealand (but taxes are pretty high), and Switzerland (its cold and a bit too socialized for my tastes). I hadn’t considered Hong Kong so I will definitely look into that.
Texas is not going to leave the Union in my life time and I am middle aged. The Union may have to leave Texas but the Union will really really really be a bummer of an organization by then.
How about Luxembourg or Lichtenstein? they are the some of the wealthiest folks in the world.
Well, IMO if any state has the “conjones” to leave the Union it would be Texas haha. Those people are crazy (in a good way). I agree though, it probably wouldn’t happen until things got REALLY bad.
And thanks for the suggestion, I will look into both of those countries.
Maybe The Bahamas or Trinidad? They are certainly qualify as warm rather than cold. Plus there is a huge coolness factor involved in living on a “tiny” tropical island.
