Mandatory swine flue vaccinations

To take a break from the usual economics on this site, I was wondering what everyone thought about the possible mandatory swine flue vaccinations?

I personally do not believe it is anything to worry about (swine flu, that is) so there is no way I am going to take a vaccine. I have always been suspicious of vaccines ever since I got scarlet fever from one in my childhood. I also wrote a paper on how vaccines can cause viral mutations that could possibly lead to different and stronger diseases.

Furthermore, what do people here think about Alex Jones? His take on the vaccines scares the hell out of me, and as crazy as it sounds he always seems to have a lot of links and documents backing his statements up.

The government already made it impossible for people to sue the vaccine makers. So if it kills you, too bad. No comment on Alex Jones.

Yes, I did notice the legal immunity granted toward the drug companies… I am guessing you despise that?

And why no comment on Alex Jones? He is rather dogmatic, but I like his energy. While many of his ideas seem far-fetched, I have no reason to either believe or disbelieve them. The problem is he focuses on the extremely grey areas of current events - the ones that make people uncomfortable. Years of conditioning have made it hard to believe what he says and not feel a twinge of guilt. Then again I have not heard all of his ideas, only that he hates Obama (check) and thinks drug companies are corrupt and will gladly see people suffer for money (check).

Don’t know if he think reptilians rule the world [;)]

Don’t you?

The problem with Alex Jones is that he treats the NWO as a supernatural force. If he described as what they really are - a bunch of criminals -, then people would actually believe what he says.

I am paranoid about mass vaccination ever since the tetanus vaccine scandal broke out in the Philippines and Mexico. If you remember suspicions were awakened by the fact that free inoculations of this UN-sponsored vaccine were offered to women only, leading a number of indipendent organizations to run their own test which revealed that these vaccines contained an hormone suppressor that inhibits pregnancies. Did it end there by accident? Perhaps, but given the fact that only women were to be vaccinated… you can do the math.

During the aviary flu outbreak a large batch of vaccine was discovered to have been contaminated by the same live flu. It was accidently discovered by a quality control technician in a Czech repackaging facility. The vaccine was immediately withdrawn but no legal consequences ensued. Quality control issues again? The good Czech technician surely did his job, how about the manufacturer, an Austrian subcontractor? Even if it weren’t premeditated I would think at least thrice before injecting my body with something with such patent lacks in the quality control department.

There’s something very dark and disturbing about this latest histeria: the usual winter flu outbreak kills thousands of persons every month, usually with very serious prexisting issues, even in countries with state of the art medical facilities, yet nobody makes a fuss about it. Alex Jones may be even more paranoid than myself but he is not a complete crackpot. Until now the scare tactics are failing to work since there are no piles of bodies to show on TV but who knows what they’ll invent next?

The swine flu outbreak is curious: it was a huge news story and then no one got it; then magically in the last few weeks everyone has got it. I haven’t checked to see what the symptoms are but I’d guess that they’re so widely drawn that anyone who has a flu like virus will be declared to have swine flu, in he same way that if you have smoked once in your life ever it caused your death. It seems set up nicely for a mass immunisation programme which will line the drugs companies profits. It’s difficult to get normal vaccines at the mo since the companies are just producing swine flu vaccines; for example you can’t get any rabies vaccines at all, even in France where they produce them.

Do you have a link to your paper vaccines Onto?

Physio, now that you said that last week I took one of my dogs to vet for a vaccination and she told me to ring her at least ten days before the viral pneumonia recall due this Fall to make sure she has the doses at hand… and I used to thought veterinarian drugs were the best place to make money!

Swine flu is a non issue. Stabbing me in the arm against my will is an issue. Especially when the people making the vaccine are rushed into making it and will not be held responsible for any damage it may cause.

His sources aren’t the most reliable. His antics destroy any shred of credibility he may have had. He’s all style and no substance, and his style is of the tinfoil hat wearing variety. He typically has only a rudimentary grasp on whatever it is he’s yelling about. He never met a conspiracy theory he didn’t like, and any truth he does expose is by sheer accident. I used to like the guy, but there’s only so many times I can hear about some sinister plot involving a slew of acronyms that all trace their supporters to a group of owl worshippers having crossdressing orgies in the woods.

I fear the virus of totalitarian government far, far more than I fear any pig flu story whipped up by journalists who’ve lost interest in the economy. And I say this as the citizen of a country where 89% of the population is predicted to get it.

I may have the paper still saved on my old computer but then again I might have deleted it when clearing memory space since I have it saved with the university. And I hate to disappoint but the paper focuses more on the philosophical issue of whether we should allow vaccines that cause short term relief (if that) yet suffer long term losses. Hmm… kind of sounds like stimulus packages…

and I agree with the last poster, the virus of totalitarian government is much worse than swine flu.

I just am scared that I won’t be allowed readmission if I refuse to take the vaccine…
