He loves to interrupt his guests and talk over them. He’s constantly framing the discussion for an expert, so they have no opportunity to present any angle but the one he wants to promote.
I’ve known he’s got a pantload of crap going on for some time, if you listen to him for more than a year, you can hear him contradict himself but what really gets me is when he screams and howls like an animal, shouts down people like a bully and this is supposedly the front man for human liberty.

If you run into Truthers and Infowarriors on the net, nobody takes them seriously because they think they have to communicate like Alex, by screaming and pasting devil pictures of Obama, and the Israeli flag flying on the white house and it’s just a turnoff. They don’t have a good example for how to be energetic and still approachable.
I guess that answers the question of the 500,000 libertarian thread. I would send them all for sales training.
I wouldn’t trust him regardless, he seems the type to be eager to become a populist vanguard of some sorts. At least Carson doesn’t film end of the world via jewish domination & other scetchy ideas via “Endgame”, & pushes it as ultimate truth.
It doesn’t encourage me that AJ seems to dislike the pen & paper, & other ways of getting out “the message”, such as having a simple honest debate with someone without resorting to sensationalism. He wants to be an Edison Carter-type, but at least Edison Carter had the balls to go out on the field (I realize AJ has probably visited Bilderberg meetings, so if anyone who has seen his actual documentaries can clarify, I would retract that AJ doesn’t go on the field), and almost got killed a few times.
Carson writes a 600pg book with a guy’s head up his own ass as the cover; rather benign compared to the defense I have to employ when friends I know laugh at me assuming I support Alex Jones because I’m libertarian, or accuse me of anti-semetism or racism because Alex Jones believes it, and since I’ve mentioned the NAU once or twice, in conversations where I explicitly said it was possible, not real, I must believe it’s true too. AJ is just ammo for the statists, in this regard.
He wants to be a jester, nothing more, it seems to me. The only thing I see him useful for, admitelly, is spreading memes (new world order, martial law, etc.), despite how distorted they become. If he amounts to having increased awareness of previously political taboos, I suppose he wasn’t a complete waste of time (perhaps as a useful idiot).
It’s a shame AJ get’s all this press, yet people doing hard work will go largley un-noticied. David Walker (while not a libertarian) did far more to alert me to the economic crisis (I think I saw him while I was in the twilight weeks of being a Democrat, shortly before registering Independant), with his lecture on c-span with documented statistics, graphs, & facts, on social security & healthcare, than Alex Jones will probably do in hours of youtube submissions.

I sympathize because I like Pat on history and war. But he is horrible on economics, and doesn’t particularly favour liberty over republicanism or statism.
If he didn’t become an Austrian when Rothbard was advising his Presidential campaign, then I doubt he is an Austrian now. No disrespect intended to Tom Woods who is fantastic at explaining Austrianism to the layman.
What I find frustrating is why one would focus on the people who have the NWO theories (headlinedJones, I guess) instead of what ever message they are trying to send out. This group also just did a documentary on people who dress up and play fantasy styled games out in public, which on my premature judgment leaves me to believe these people just like to point at people and laugh.
Like I said I don’t really think about the NWO or have much interest in it or conspiracy theories in general. But there is a danger the camera could easily turn into some perversion of libertarianism and paint the average libertarian as absolutly batfuck nanners, especially when some one like Andrew Jones is a major feature. All they have to do is drop a couple little hints that some of these people claim themselves as libertarian.
How do Alex Jone’s view differ from libertarian views?

As for Alex Jones, the man is clearly a fruitcake. Globalism is a legitimate concern, but the theories he comes up with are straight out of X-men. His “global enslavement” movie was one of the nuttiest things I’ve ever seen.
AJ is very careful about talking about Jews. Endgame is about the Illuminati, the hidden elites, royalty, families dedicated to specific bloodlines. He doesn’t make any racial statements in it. He almost never does. He’s very careful with that.
His followers are another story.
AJ has been arrested protesting numerous times, and he goes to Bilderberg quite frequently to bullhorn limos with tinted windows. lol
Right. I’m all for multiple approaches, and I realize AJ does appeal to a significant segment. I really just don’t like how he tries to promote himself above the principles, above people like Ron Paul who himself tries to play down his personality and play up his ideas. He’s recently been upset at Glen Beck, who has been stealing AJs thunder by being a mainstream paleocon minarchist.
AJ’s show can get very grating because it is FEAR FEAR FEAR FLOURIDE CHEMTRAILS FEAR FEAR BILDERBERG FEAR EUGENICS FEAR BUY STORABLE FOOD FEAR FEAR without any real solutions except spread the message, which is to say, make more people afraid.

That’s essentially as far as my concern goes, nonetheless, if it is possible to prove to paleocons that their culture will flourish without the state and they’re very likely to be converted.
